Community Association

Hi All Fellow SGers

I know that I amn ot at SG very often but I care about what is happening and ensuring it is a great place for people to both live and visit, and I know there are lots of you there who already do a tremendous amount for SG and each other BUT

I don't know if any of you have read up on the last thread Rubbish Skip - and particularly the last post by Kathy/Studio who says that where she lives they have got togther as a community to sort out rubbish 'areas' and collection - not sure where we stand with the local authority as such but does anyone think it worth while setting up a community organisation / urbanisation committee/council to put pressure on 1.MASA [living in hope] and 2. to ensure the ongoing good management of the urbanisation

OR 3. am talking up my own b   side?

Hi All

In relation to the post below, just wondering what has happened to the monthly newsletter that was being posted earlier this year. Did something happen to cause it to stop, did I miss something? It was a fantastic way of keeping in touch with all that was happening on site, i appreciate it took time and effort from everyone living on site permanently but it really was great and is now missed! Any chance of revival?

Didn't know there was a newsletter.

I for one would love to see one as it keeps us all up to date with whats happening especially with the winter months coming.

And even more so with the recent floods that caused such disruption.
