Nasty Rumour about Town Centre & Las Islas

I read on another forum that the Town Centre and Las Islas are now on indefinite hold and that Las Islas may be cancelled completely. Furthermore it appears Las Islas has been withdrawn from further sale and has disappeared from the price list.

Anyone anything to add?

I have also reed it.  

I will explain my case. I am a Phase 1 buyer and I signed the contract last March 20th. We were in a doubt of signing or not, and for that reason we had a meeting with Mika of customer services in PW HQ just to clarify the situation of the project. She told us that the project was going on, more slowly because of the market situation, but never stop. She told us that they can get the "compromise" that the following phases till #13 will be finished for next year, no date for the followings. This means that the islas and town center will be done for next year. She informed us that more of the 70% of islas and next phases (till 13 I understood) is sold, but that they are waiting for finishig Mar Menor II to move all the equipment and resoruces the Terrazas.

During the visit I can confirm you that there was movemenet in the golf course, whose 9 first hole will be opened for late summer.
