Just found this on another forum, don't know where they are based but may be of interest to some,  have PMd them for details.

Hello all,

soon there will be a pizza delivery service on condado, for all of you that enjoy the evening or late night snack, even if you have a late flight in or just fancy being lazy :D

all pizzas will be delivered to your door freshly made just like pizza hut!

only soft drinks will be availible along with a great selection of pizzas to choose from.

if this is of interest to you PM us and we will send you a full menu with offers when we are active.

think of the extra time spent in the sun, not stuck in the kitchen or having to drive somewhere to eat!

summers comming!

Hi June,

Definitely interested - not just for ourselves but also to put in the Information Folder we have in our apartments for renters.  This is the kind of service that will probably do really well, particularly whilst there is little in the way of facilities.  Even where there are restaurants etc on the resort, I would think that the prices will be more competitive than PW!!!

Would you mind letting me have the details when you get them?

Debbie

Hi June,

At first glance thought that you had bought Martyn an apron & hat and that he was changing jobs, but after carefull reading realised this was not the case.

Pizza is  not my favourite food, but the kids love it and no doubt they will want (in their words a 'proper pizza') rather than mothers homemade effort, so yes could take off in a big way, that's if PW allow it.

Thanks for the info

Ali

Hi all,

sorry didn't get back sooner but have been a bit unwell, not man flu of course, but feeling pretty rough.

Ali, I reckon he'd jump at the chance of cooking for a living, even pizzas. He's never been interested before but just lately is getting the bug for it.  I of course encourage him as much as I can. lol   Pizzas for me are one of those foods that when you fancy one, you've got to have one. I get cravings for them.  Wiredout has posted the reply so far from the pizza people. Have to say I thought they were talking about setting up a shop, but I think they may have an apartment? Not sure, but this is the latest reply to the question below that was posted.

_______________________________________________________________________________________________________

It is a very good idea but surely the FORO would be the most logical location as it would be accessable to all of us and would not be contravening any contractural rules. Would the pizzas be baked on a timber oven or gas?Timber ovens give the base a fantastic taste as well as texture.

Good luck

In reply to the last post,

im planning on providing a service to people on PW quicker than they can, with a gang of 3000 builders and millions of euros.

when they finally pull there finger out and offer us a shop ill buy it, but untill then its about building up customers, i like to be one step ahead.

within the first 24h of my post i had 90+ email all requesting menus and more and more everyday

there are lots of people on site breaking rules within contract, property managerment/key holders/taxi/builders they are all run from there home so what difference would it make?

only i have an empty property that would be kitted out purely for this. not my home.

it will be accessable to all of you ..... because its a delivery service.

and yes i will have ceramic stone pizza ovens @ 350/500 degrees 1300w 3 phase electirc then all pizzas will be consistant in taste and temp & texture.

ill give you a free one if your not sure!

speedy pizza

Not such a good idea if they're trying to short cut setting up the business by using an apartment built for residential use as a pizza kitchen ! Keep it legal, get the appropriate licences (surely something is required when providing food for sale ?) and use a business outlet. Don't want cowboy businesses on site as it will end in tears.

On the other hand, a legally set up pizza takeaway in a business outlet sounds like a great idea !

Hi Martyn & June

Hope you're feeling heeps better June, have a Gin that'll perk you up. Sadly just seen the update on speedy pizza's..........

Hi all,

i went to sales office today to enquire about renting/buying a unit, the rep said NONE of the unit are for sale or rent and will be polaris owned and run, so i asked with what...

2 bar lounges
2 restaurants international other not decided
1 english style pub
1 supermarket

this mean more over price food and drink for us all.

the oasis has been put on hold untill 2010 but could be longer.

Hi all,

I'm with Kevin & Elaine on this.  Surely there will be regulations like there is in this country about setting up a business  from a residental property?  I certainly wouldn'nt like them as my next door neighbour, the smell and noise would be terrible.

Well as long as you have all the licences. Many outlets (pubs, bars and shops) have been closed or temporarely shut in the area, incl Campsosol for incorrect licences. No warning - just closed the bizz. Same with checks/fines on unregistered builders etc.
