We have an apartment in block 5 and were out there for three weeks in August.  We have concerns over many issues concerning the Community and have tried hard to contact the President but to no avail.  We have sent many emails and never had a reply.  We are sure that many others have these concerns and would be grateful if you could let us know whether your attempts to make contact with the President have been successful.

We are very concerned about the lack of security, the lack of gardening, the cleaning of the pool, the street lights etc and think that we all need to stick together to try and get some of these issues addressed.

Please let us know your thoughts on this!

We are so pleased to hear that we have some more 'neighbours'!  We completed on our apartment 8-0-C in block 5 last July and have already been out several times.  We realize that in many respects it was not a wise financial move particularly because of the exchange rate, but having said that, we are really delighted with our decision.  Although the area is so quiet and will proabably stay that way for a long time, the pool was cleaned every day and we had our own lifeguard!  A very friendly but not English speaking gardener also worked hard every day, sometimes in intense heat and generally the place is well looked after.

We may, at times, want to take friends out to Spain with us and only have a two bedroomed apartment, so if you are intending to let yours, we would be interested to know what the weekly rate would be.

If you see us around at all, please say 'hello', we are booked for Easter and may go out for half-term but we are not sure yet.

Truly hope that you enjoy your apartment as much as we are enjoying ours!

We are also buying in phase 11, block 5 and frustrated by the delay.  Last August we stayed in a penthouse apartment in phase 1 and I have just checked that it is available for your required dates.  If you go to holidaylets .net you will see the details.  It is 600 euros per week.

We have also forwarded our snagging list to Lawyers of Spain who informed us that it had been sent on to the developers.  More worrying is that the employee at Cajasur who we are dealing with has said that although our mortgage is agreed in principle, it could take 1 - 2 months to sub divide the developers mortgage and nothing can happen until that has been done!

If anyone is going our soon could they please update us on what's happening, we paid our deposit 2 years ago and feel that it is never going to happen!!

 

We are going to book for end of May regardless of whether it is ready so that we can try and move things on a bit.

I don't think that there is much work outstanding, the pool needs filling but we were told that this would be done at the very end as it would then be ready for the start of the season.  The plants are in and we were told that they would soon spring to life!

 

We are just waiting for our mortgage offer and then we hope to complete very soon.  I would think that you are in a good position as there are still quite a few unsold apartments in block 5.
