Stuart I wish you well trying to play golf.

As you seem from your post to be new to the game or else unable to count may I point out that the maxium you can have playing on a normal day is 192 player and that assumes 48 fourballs over 8 hours every 10 minutes.

500 is a little of the mark and a golfer would know that.

Average number of players on a busy day will be 100 -130.

This is the figure the proshop told me the last  time we were out as I was interested in the numbers playing as it was very busy when we were last in Roda.

Good luck with your golf and maths lessons.

Obviously Villa3 has nothing better to do than pester the pro shop with figures just before he goes out for his weekly hack.

50, 500, 5000 i don't really care how many walk past your villa.  What i do care about are comments like yours that are against a few of us on Phase 3 trying to find a solution where we can get to and from the club house, just as we were told we could before we made our purchases.

As for trying to play golf, i'm TRYING to get off of my 5 handicap (4.7 to be exact) so if you'd like some lessons please don't ask me.

And as for maths lessons, try telling someone who really cares!!!!

strange thing how calidona have managed to antagonise owners by not delivering facalaties , when at the end of the day we all want the same thing the 5* resort we bought into and paid a substancial premium to be part of .

Good morning Stuart,

It was you  yourself who told the world in a previous post about your abilty on a golf course "  whilst i'm trying to play golf "what were we all to think.

As for the Pro shop being pestered , the question took about 15 seconds only and the answer about 5 seconds and this all happened while supporting the shop by buying some items there.

There you go again getting excited and exaggerating.

I was told when we bought that we were not allowed cross the course ,we would prefer to be able to cut across but can understand why we can not as it has nothing to do with the property we bought.

As for the lesson I can understand why you are not offering.

Thankfully I do not require your help as my handicap is lower than 4.7

I assume as you do not really care about  any of the above you will not be responding.

Hello Stuart,

How can you tell me to stop posting drivel as you call it , when all I am doing is clarifying points which you made and pointing out how you exaggerated things and gave inaccurate information (eg. your abilty as a golfer, number of players etc) on the fourm.

Is my response to tell you to go away .   Not at all ,you like me are entitled to be here as well and all I am doing is trying to help you with accurate info.

As I am sure you are bored by now ,goodbye ,however I will continue to read and contibute even without your permission.

I thought I better repost the original point of what I started. I have quite a number of names backing this request but would like to add more.

I am trying to persuade Roda to provide reasonable walking access from phase 3 to the clubhouse and new facilities when completed. Please can Phase 3A and B people PM me their private email with their property details and I will CC them on my mail to the Housing Comunidades.

I have made some suggestions  with the help of a number of you. The conclusion is a lot could be achieved with min disruption to the Golf Course and Villa owners(jumped up or otherwise!)

However as with everything with Roda they will do nothing unless we make a lot of noise as a group.

Hello Ray

If you are going to have a cheap shot at me then I may as well point out that  you never answered the question  which  I asked you and dismissed as frankly nonsense below.

Last summer the clubhouse was open late many nights well into the small hours of the morning and I would almost bet money that you are most likely in a penthouse so therefore this silly little issue which you say on behalf of 100s of people '  is frankly nonsense'

Maybe nonense to you and some others but could be a very real issue for whoever has a property beside your new  walkway and are on the groundfloor of any type.

We still do not know if this will have any effect you directly regarding possible noise levels

Totally accept that  big picture what you are about is understandable but the result may impact more on some owners than others

When we were there in April my husband hit a ball which bounced off a villa roof then hit a tree and landed in a swimming pool.  he plays off 18 and is no professional.. we are on phase three front line golf apartment,, and have watched golfers look for balls close to us.  When we played we took out insurance .  Some of the villas have no protection from flying balls.

On walking round Roda we had access to most properties by public paths ,and behaved with respect at all times .Anyone using paths do so mainly to access their property, or for a stroll,  people using shortcut to club house and facilities will be the same and the security patrol will make sure of this at night.  So there should not be a problem.

does anyone know if calidona are allowed to errect nets without consulting the relevent owners ? as stray balls and indeed people looking for them could become an issue to front line villa owners .

where these have been used on polaris resorts the visual effect is truly appalling and would certainaly be detremental to peoples outlook .

I don't want to start Villa 3 off again, but if you buy a front row villa on a golf course surely you must expect golf balls in the garden and golfers looking for stray shots.

As long as the golfers stay on the golf course then villa owners are going to have to put up with it.

agree , was more wondering about the process of erecting nets ie is it simply at calidonas discretion or do the community have a say ? .

Hi Wangy, sorry Blueboys or whatever name you decide on next.

A blonde sunbathing topless at the side of the fairway such as you get on La Torre would interfere with the concentration a bit I think!

Perhaps Roda could employ a Norwegian referee to SEND the walkers OFF the path although I doubt there would be any PENALTY given ?

Still bored, especially with Bluegirly or Wangy (can think of plenty more less fortunate names)

Ray is trying to get a few Phase 3 owners together to find a solution, so jog on Blueboy seeing as you're not even on Phase 3.
