i mick&julie phase2 thanks for everyones advice on morgages i have now got one with bank popular in aguillas /should have gone there in the beginning also been to the notary in san pedro today everything went fine in&out within half hour &im now a house owner on calas de pinar / the only proplem ive got to start paying for it. just collected keys from site office /they gave me 2 gas bottles & the shower heads/water &electric is working fine /but this is being supplied by peinsa & is free until we are connected properly /my soliciter said they will inform me when we are connected & of any communal fees / also the house was completely cleaned today from top to bottom by professional cleaning company  i was very surprised how good the house looked , also asked the notary& my soliciter was there any proplems with peinsa &they said every thing is fine & buiding work will start again after christmas

Our solicitor has given a very different story regarding Peinsa and definately no indication of building recommencing in the new year.

In fact we have been told tha Peinsa are no longer selling........................

So which of them do we believe

I've heard the same thing from my solicitor.  I,m phase 2 & am awaiting bad news regarding Peinsa in the new year.

Firstly, brilliant news that you have completed -

We are advised that the top guns are visiting the site at the beginning of Jan 09 - will be interesting to see what happens.

Given the climate and number of withdrawals (understandable due to climate, wait and euro), would be sensible for them to understand who is willing to complete and start negotiating deals and plots to maximise completions - this would free up their cashflow and ensure the earlier phases were occupied/concluded - but they don't seem to work on sense do they!

We have made this suggestion to their head office who are visiting in Jan and the director we are in contact with seems to be quite sensible so let's see what happens.

They need to kick start this development some how and the only way this will happen is some "bigger picture" thinking!
