Back & off again

Hi all, we just spent 4 days out Condado driving over 900km! was all going fine until I set my alarm on my mobile to wake us up and it was still on UK time and we missed our NIE appointment we was up against it after that!!

We are in Los Naranjos Jardin4 and didn't complete because of COH as per.....must admit I have been a bit nervous about the whole build up to it all and as soon as we drove up the hill to site it all went in a flash.

Place is looking great and could't ask for more, our garden was perfect not too big as we wanted and very well finished.

Off to Mexico tomorrow so will worry about furniture in the next couple of months, word of warning to all men, make sure you draw up the divorce papers before navigating the Ikea junction!!!!!

Hi Dan,

ROFL ia all I can say to that!! Hubby ended up getting out of the car to ask for directions. When he came back he was out of breath and I asked him why, now this will make you laugh! He approached a guy that was jogging and didnt want to stop jogging so he had to jog with him while he got the directions!! LOL I nearly broke a rib laughing. Have to say it is a weird junction, you are like "its over there, no over there, its on the other side of the road, we are going the wrong way". Does any of that sound familiar? hehe

We missed our NIE appointment at 9.30 in the morning as we left our passports in the hotel in error (Simons fault of course) but we phoned and they were able to slot us in at 12.30 instead. Simon was freaked out but I was my usual laid back self ( I will fit in to the Spanish way of life easily).  This was just another one of those things we had a hoot about later.

Welcome to the forum, we to had the same problem but i just pointed and said that way and some how we managed to find our way in, no probs. Getting out that was another story, but the thought of your hubby trying to jog while listening to directions in Spanish really made me belly laugh.  Keep up the good posts, we like stories like that.

It's always our fault

Reminds me for some reason of when my ex-wife was telling me why she was divorcing me, something to do with not listening to her i think
