Hi joanie - You might try looking under Golden Sun Golf and Beach resort -  part of the development was sold exclusively to Instant Access properties clients in the UK . I understand Parcella ES -4 will complete in 2009.  Id be happy to discuss more  on the private forum  if you wish.

Its been a few months since we were last out in san juan could you tell me wether they have started building yet in front of the medical centre on the goldensunbeachgolfresort I know the block has been started further up near the new big round about but we are closer to the sea???????????

They had put the footings in when we were last there but had not started building yet

No nothing yet, there is a lot of ground flattening going on but not much else. At the moment access is a bit of a problem as they try and get the road sorted out.

Is there anybody else out there that has bought in block 6 in front of medical centre on the golden sun beach golf resort!!

I have bought one of the three bedroom apartments - It was supposed to be completed in December of this year but I was informed that it would be delayed until June of next year.  I went out earlier this year to have a look and there has been work started on other blocks up near the golf course, but nothing had started where ours are going to be built.  Do you know anything more?

Nice to know there are other prople out there waiting like we are for block 6 we were out in october and they have put the concrete footings in but there was no bulding work started.And I have found out today that they still have not started we were also told june next year but  I carnt see it,maybe later I think the lady in the pilot house has told us it takes 8 months to build we have bought a 2 bed on the ground floor at the front which we plan to rent out and a 2 bed on the 1st floor  on the corner which we plan to live in.

I have just received another letter from Masa saying there has been a further delay on Block 6 - the new completion date is 30th September 2009.  I spoke to Jackie Lopez in Masa's Spanish office and she said that the builders were legally allowed to do this with no penalties.  Some people have been changing over to block 2 as this is due for completion in May.  Has anyone been out recently to see what progress has been made?

I have also received a letter from masa telling me of further delays not happy at all but since the letter i have now received a phone call from jackie lopez asking me if we want to switch blocks as they are ready in may and has also told me that our block 6 will not be ready for september possably not even this year.what have you decided to do???????????????

Hi, I have decided not to switch to Block 2 as it is not near the sea where my original apartment was supposed to be.  It's really disappointing that Block 6 will not be built for quite some time, so I am going to try and get my entire deposit back - they have had it now for nearly two years now and I am going to look elsewhere.  The developers are not really to blame, it's just a sign of the times globally with this horrible recession! 

We are thinking of doing same they have had our deposit for nearly 2 years aswell, we are also very disappointed but like you say its a sign of the times!!!

dont think there are any pools planned for this block as there are commercial units underneath there were definitey a pool planned for our block 6 but thats not even started yet!!!!!!!!

Have you heard from the developer yet about your deposit we havent yet we have just come back from spain and block 6 is not even going to be built the block they have started will be finished in may /june and the tired apts around the golf course will not be ready until possably december . they are about to start to build the smaller block next to the one they offered us both to move to then that is it. they will not build anything else until the market picks up.

do you have any news to share

Hi there,

No, I haven't heard anything back from Jackie Lopez since I spoke to her in late February - she said she would get back to me with any updates about getting my deposit back early.  I will phone her in a couple of weeks to see if there is any movement on this issue, but the last time I spoke to her, she said that the builders were still in contract legally until September 30th.

I no like yourself that our contract is not broken until 30th september but in this case were they no they will not be ready you would think they would just pay the money back.Its not as if there is a chance for them to be ready for september!! we also found out that another reason why they have not built them is because the ground were they have built up keeps sinking and is very unstable when we were there in march the area looked more like a lake then a building site.I emailed jackie a couple of days ago about chasing it up but still had no response if i hear anything i will let you know.
