More than a week of protests over education reforms and funding cuts

OVER 30 protests in cities across Spain are due to take place on Wednesday with pupils from primary, secondary, sixth form and university taking to the streets – and a further demonstration on Thursday led by teachers, parents and other education workers. In several major cities, gatherings are already taking place with pickets set up and information stands explaining about the funding cuts in education and healthcare.
