Brexit could be good for business in Madrid, say experts
Tuesday, December 19, 2017 @ 12:48 PM

BREXIT could bring major opportunities for investment to Madrid, according to a report in British daily broadsheet The Guardian – as businesses and agencies leave the UK, they may be attracted to the Spanish capital as an alternative location.

Spain's rapid growth – among the fastest in the European Union – and the fact that Madrid is responsible for 20% of the GDP, plus the greater quality of life in the city compared with other EU capitals, and the country's almost-exclusive links with Latin America due to its historical and cultural ties mean London's loss could be Madrid's gain, The Guardian believes.

To help convince firms considering leaving Britain – particularly those in the financial services sector and within the City of London – the regional government has set up the hashtag #ThinkMadrid in which it draws attention to the lower taxes and a new plan known as an 'administrative motorway' to fast-track the setting up of companies opting for Spain's largest metropolitan area.

Oh yes "The Guardian" experts, that's a laugh! This newspaper is known as the platform for liberal, left-wing opinions associated with the negative, stereotypical views of the elite and politically correct middle class. These are the very people who gave the UK a legacy of problems from their left wing influence during the previous Conservative co-coalition with the Liberal Democrats. Thankfully, they disappeared into the political abyss after the 2015 General Election & I'd hoped were no longer a political influence in the UK but sadly not! These are the people who want to keep the UK tied to the EU in an effort to create Junker's "perfect Europe", keeping their elitist noses in the trough along side him; as long as we all continue to pay for it of course! Don't believe everything (anything!) you read in this paper, it's "remoaner", scare mongering clap trap specifically designed to influence those who didn't bother to vote in the 2016 referendum & cause doubt & unfounded fear in the minds of those who voted to leave, hopefully swaying their thinking if there was another Referendum. With help from the now Trotskyist, Corbynistas of the Labour party & their impossible to keep promises to politically nieve youngsters, I fear it may actually be working; politics in the UK is getting very frightening!

I think there is no doubt that the referendum went the correct way, there will not be another referendum but if there was i think the the majority to leave would now be emphatic.Even remainers can now see with the behaviour of the so called EU brexit negotiators who seem to think they are school yard bullies that they do not want to agree on anything, they just want more money.

The uk - has had its day, get out now before its to late. It's going to be left to people with no skills and left wing pensioner. If you have a brain you can see this. GET OUT BEFORE ITS TOO LATE .Good luck to those who voted for Brexit - your going to need luck... Very sorry to say, but the UK is a joke (before you ask - I'm born and bred in the uk) and if you cannot see that - not much else to say - other than good luck again you are going to need it for sure!!!!!

Sorry but I totally disagree that the UK has "had its day” or that it’s a joke but I do see we are in danger of being “sold down the river” by European/UK conspiracy. I’m a pensioner but not left wing & don’t know many who are; I still care about my country & think it’s worth saving but if we stay in the EU, I believe life will get even MORE difficult. If the current government is pulled down, the most likely result is a Trotskyite government led by Labour Corbynistas, overseen by Momentum; frightening Dinosaurs but perfectly capable of bankrupting the country & destroying British democracy.

It’s up to individuals if they want to “get out before it’s too late” but if anyone feels that way, I would say probably best to leave & live within the developing “European State”, ardent Europhiles will never get why those of us who voted to leave did so. I understand there are many who have had enough of the confusion, just want to give up & maintain the more comfortable “status quo”. I truly believe that if we have the guts to stick with it & shake off the shackles of Europe we can truly be great again, we just have to have faith in what the UK & its talented people & entrepreneurs can do!
