How well do you handle Spain's Summer heat?
Friday, September 4, 2020 @ 1:25 PM

The summer is pretty much coming to an end here but the heat is still on. I for one would happily head off to a cooler climate as I find the heat quite unbearable during July and August, especially the humidity in the Valencia region. But the heat keeps attracting people from all over Europe and many can't get enough of it, even though this year saw numbers drop considerably due to the current Covid-19 situation. But truthfully, can you all really handle this sweltering heat? Do you really like it, love it or hate it? Please cast your vote and leave a comment...

No worse than being down a machinery space on a RN steam driven frigate out in the Far East.
Ah! Those were the days.

The heat comes and it is a welcome change after the "Cold" of winter.
After a while it just keeps coming and you take time out, slowing down and enjoying the quiet and the need to take it easy.
By the time it is going, and gone, you miss it and it will seem a long time before it blooms again.
Now it will be time to be busy again.

I prefer the warmer temperatures up to about 38 deg. to the cold. Spanish houses are very cold due to having no insulation. My place is cold even on the hottest days. I don't need aircon. It costs a fortune to heat in winter.
It's nice to enjoy the warmth sitting under a tree.
