Been living in Spain for about 12 months, beautiful country with some barmy rules!

I live in the Marbella area.

I have been trawling these boards for a while and getting very useful advice. About time i joined and repaid the favour, if i can.

I'm a keen motorcycle rider (sensible!) and would be interested in any local meets or groups.

I know there are specific motorbike clubs, such as BMW bikes, etc.  What bike have you got?

I have Suzuki bandit 12.

I've had the sports bikes, but the bandit is a jack of all really.

Especially on the roads around here, theres not much run off! And I'm not tempted to speed too much.

So the bandit does me fine, plenty of torque for town riding and as comfortable as ya like!

I need a back tyre though, i was reading about a guy on here who knew someone in Fuengirola?

Is there anyone who knows of bike tyre specialists.

I wonder would you mind letting me know how you manage to get a tyre fitted to the Bandit.?

I am guessing you run on a 180/55r17?? I would be keen to know how the prices compare too, as I operate a tyre fitting business in the UK and want to set up in Spain.

I was going to ask you the same question. Yes thats the size, i'm going to need one pretty soon too.

I've never got any tyres here, although in the uk i paid around £120 for a rear.

Not sure what they are here yet, i'll find out though and let you know.
