WE ARE ABOUT TO HAVE AN AGM AT OUR APARTMENT BLOCK.
I HAVE BEEN SENT 11 PROXY VOTES FROM PEOPLE WHO CAN NOT ATTEND. MY FRIEND INFORMS ME THAT IT IS ONE APARTMENT ONE VOTE. COULD SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP AND LET ME KNOW IF THIS IS TRUE ?

In our community, which is run by the book, there is one proxy vote per owner.

So if 11 people co-own then yes, there could be 11 votes from one apartment.

Tommy, I assume it's 11 votes for 11 different properties.  If so it means that your vote is actually counted as 12 (11 plus yours) although you need to make sure that the owners have informed the administrators that you will be voting on their behalf.

I only get one POXY vote at my AGM as well and I can think of a few things I would change if I got a few POXY more. LOL
