Hi, does anyone know where I can buy a Goose for Christmas? I know I could order one from the butcher and I know it sounds hypocritical but I don't want one to be slaughtered just for me - would rather buy one that has already met its fate!!

Go to your butchers just before Christmas and ask them if there are any geese available that have recently died of natural causes. I'm sure they'll be able to sort you out with one.

Seroiusly though, any major supermarket should have mass produced geese available I would have thought - It's only the local butcher that knows each one by name!!
