Hi everyone,
We have just found this site by chance, what a godsend!! Now we know that there are other people in exactly the same situation as ourselves.
We put our deposit down on a Isabella A villa after going on an inspection visit in May 2005, then like everyone else 28 days later paid our deposit, today is the day when the keys were supposed to be handed over.
We have been trying to get a bank guarantee for over a year with no luck, our lawyer either ignores us or gives us the same information over and over again. Time to get a new lawyer!
If anyone has any new information we can use to try and get things with our lawyer moving, please let us know, Good luck to you all.

Hi Linda & Charlie
You have to have a Bank Guarantee given to you by the developer when buying off plan, to protect your stage payments, by Spanish law so your solicitor needs a right kick up his a**e.
