Malaga Car Hire

Please can some informed Forum Users advise me in recommended Car Hire Companies at Malaga Airport and those to avoid which apparently do not  match up to expected Service Delivery in the Industry. I have two Friends coming out from Vancouver for 5 Days in March next year and the three of us hope to visit Granada, Seville and Ronda during this Period.

Good luck with this one, Nigel. If you find one which is good value, professional and with no con-tricks you can let us all know. Maybe if you pay through the nose you might get a reasonable one, but unfortunately paying more is no guarantee either. I used to recommend a company on this website and elsewhere but after a recent negative experience I've got no-one to point you towards. All the best.

when we were over in august we used SIXT, booked them on line and fuel policy was full tank out bring back full no surcharge for fuel, great new cleo, we bought extra cover over here so when asked about all the extra insurance, we told them it was not needed they accepted that no question, very friendly and helpful and open was just past midnight when we picked it up worked out at just under £20 a day, thought it was expensive at first but due the not being stung or pressured into buying extras and it being high season were more than happy

When we booked with Malagacar.com in August we paid 63 euro for 7 days no additional costs for insurance and deposit was the same as the hire car cost. Half full/half full at a cost of 20 something euro for a brand new toyota aygo - deposit refunded within days.  I have booked again for Nov for 7 days cost is 43 euro.  I use this company at least 5 times a year and have never had any bother.  The standard of cars is great and the staff are so good.  The queues are not bad and usually dealt with in less than 1/2 hr total - less if there is no queue.
