I want to change my Wi-Fi net and phone supplier as the service has really deteriorated in the last few months. The choice of options and ‘plans’ on offer are overwhelming and I would appreciate a bit of help if anyone knows anything about these systems.

One company has offered me 4mb internet and a phone line for 43.56e pcm inc IVA and that also includes 1000  minutes of phone calls  anywhere in EU which seems the best deal so far. I would like to know if 4mb is a fairly fast computer speed and if anyone has a good service or company they could recommend in the Murcia region.

All information and advice gratefully accepted.

We've just signed up this week with Portal Wimax - we dont have telephone lines so use the WIMAX internet solution to receive broadband and phone - works well.

We too get 1,000 international minutes free and unlimited wifi - although I think the speeds aer misleading. Yu need to understand the comonet upload/download speeds - for exmaple our download speed should be 4 Mbs and our upload much slower. Generally, that's the better way we find and we surf more than we send data, although sending data can be slow. We have the opton to upgreade to 6 or even 8 Mbs which gives faster upload and download speeds.

If anyone wants more information, please let me know.

Regards, Carl

You don't say who your current supplier is, but have you looked at Movistar's Fusion deal?

Hi Roberto,

Thanks for that – I will check them out today. I am being cautious because I am currently supplied by Aeromax and it has been an awful service – from both the system and the back-up so I don’t want to make the same mistake again.

Thanks to all for the information posted – a great help.
