Hi everyone,
My wife and I are thinking of retiring over in spain, I am a type2 diebetic on tablets,  I don't know how the spanish health service operates, But I am exempt from prescription charges in the uk could I get my medication in spain free or cheaper hope someone can help and advise me on this.

hi peter if come to live in spain permanteley you can fill in a form from newcastle called e.121 and you will get all your hospital treatmet free and all your prscriptions free you have to be over 65 and whatever age your wife is she will get all hers free as well i know a a couple of diabetic and they get all theres free of charge. as soon as you come over register with a doctor regards
