Taxis from Alicante airport

Can anyone give me a rough idea of the price of a taxi from Alicante airport to the Villa martin area in August time, we have friends going out to our apartment but the flights to Alicante are so much cheaper than the ones to Murcia but we have no idea how much it would cost to then get to the apartment, there are two adults and two children I dont know if that has any bearing on the price, any help is appreciated, thanks

Hi, not sure how much a taxi would cost but we normally pay €40 each way with a legal airport transfer company from Villamartin.  I did once get a taxi from Murcia to Villamartin and it cost €47 euros one way!  Sorry for not answering your question, but I can send you the details of the company I used if it would help.

I got an online quote just now for 4 people (over 2 yrs) from Alicante airport to Villa Martin 16/8 pick up 3pm returning 24/8 flight time 5pm 120€ , deposit to confirm booking is 10€

I know of one company who we use quite alot called PJ's Rentacar who charge 50.00 euros each way. Hope this helps you out.

Hi - I think an airport taxi is about 80€ - which is why  there are so many people doing illegal runs!

There is now a bus service which is non-stop from the airport to Torrevieja.  It is run by Costa Azul and seems to be under threat as it has not been as popular as they hoped.  It is very cheap - around 7€ I think - and runs every two hours, but I'm afraid I don't have the actual timetable.  Maybe someone else can provide this?
