My 'other half' and I shall be supporting Spain.

However we have a problem in the household.------- Our daughter in law is....... German.

So not too much jumping up and down when 'we' win.

She's a lovely girl though and I'm sure she'll get over it quickly!!!!!!!!

I've never said it before - and yes, I DO have sympathy for you - but if you (a) cannot stick to the thread and (b) only have bad comments - please, keep them to yourself! I haven't posted here for quite some time as some people (you're not alone!) seem soooo negative .... and seem to want everyone else to be too! (If you're not careful you will end up losing any support/sympathy you had!)

I wish were watching the game over in Spain. During the euro 2008 competion, we were in Competa for the quarter final, when they won aginst Italy. We watched it while having a meal and drinks in the square, there was a stage and musicians playing fantastic spanish music, everyone was dancing in the street, car horns were blowing and it was a brilliant night. We had mum and my mum-in-law with us and they couldn't believe what a great atmosphere there was, as they'd always thought drink (everyone had had loads) and football didn't go well together. They still talk about it, and are looking forward to coming out with us in a weeks time.
