Hi everyone,

Does anyone know where construction on Phase 6 is currently? about a year ago, substantial progress was done on the building but no news since then and it was due for delivery on Sept 30, 07. Any information would be greatly appreciated as I need to make a call on whether to continue or ask for a refund of the deposit.

I have some photo's of phase 6 which we took in May.  I doubt there has been anymore progress as the new builders have only recently appeared on site.  If you wish, I can send them on to you if you send me your email address in a private message.

I just checked my email and saw the pictures, many thanks really appreciate it. The building looks a bit strange, 2 stories on one side and 3 on the other. I guess it is because it is built over a hill. Can I upload the pics on the system for everyone on this message board to see?

You are right about the floors/block being built on a hill.  This happens a lot on the Arenal site, some of the blocks on our phase (Phase3) have 4 floors on one side and 3 floors on the other, all very confusing!

Its the same on phase 4 roadside has 3 floors but golfside has 4 floors,its caught a lot of people out who though they bought on the first floor to find out they are ground floor level.

THE DIFFRENT FLOOR LEVELS SHOULD HAVE BEEN EXPLAINED  TO YOU .

WHEN WE  BOUGHT OUT APARTMENT WE DID IT AT SITE OFFICE WITH ANGELA.

  NO ESTATE AGENT SHE TOLD US AS WE WERE BUYING ON FIRST FLOOR   ON  PHASE  FOUR THERE WOULD

HOWEVER BE TWO    FLOORS  BELOW US  LOWER GROUND  APARTMENT AND PARKING GOLF SIDE

 UPPER       GROUND   CAR PARK  AND APARTMENTS    ROAD SIDE  AND EVEN THEN EACH CAR PARK  HAS

DIFFRENT LEVELS 

 WE ARE  UPPER BASEMENT   OUR  PARKING BAY ON ONE   LEVEL STORAGE UNIT ON ANOTHER

Hi Michelle,

Check out the photos sumbitted by gfmaz on 1st May 07 - 51347.  These are of your side of phase 4 and if you zoom in you can see that the bottom floors on the golf side all have very large terraces.  So if you don't have a large terrace you will be on the next floor up (which is the ground/entrance floor from the roadside).  Hope this has helped and not confused you even more!.  We ended up checking our floor with our solicitor , as we got so confused about this.

I would say your ground floor golf side with the larger terrace,as Jool25 says in photo 2 of gfmaz photos 1st may 51347 the first floor golf side would be ground floor roadside but the confusing part of this is the (Ground Floor Road side if often sold As First Floor ) and this is what caught a lot of people out.Check with your solicitor/agent as they should have a layout of your apartment with the size of the rooms and terrace etc.

We have bought an apartment just like yours but in Block 3. If you enter the block from thr front entrance on the road side you will have to go down a floor to reach your aprtment which like ours is semi sotano. These are the ones with the large rear terrace overlooking the Golf and a small interior patio leading off the kitchen.

There are only two semi sotano apartments in each portal but we think there are four apartments on each of the other floors, ground, first and second. There are two car parking levels one at semi sotano taking up all of the road side and one at the next level down. There is no living space, only car parking at the level below your apartment. If your car parking is also at semi sotano you will be able to get out of your car and go through the portal door directly to your apartment. If it is on the lower level you will have to come up a floor to your apartment.

We found it confusing till we were shown round last December. We took several photos of the interior and of the view from the terrace. If you would like to see these please pm us with your email address and we will send them to you.
