Hi everyone,

I have at last got my deposit back. having  given notice that I wanted to withdraw in January.  This has been a very traumatic process and I was promised   repayment of my money on five previous dates, all of which proved to be fruitless. 

I started the court  process to sue two weeks ago and was given back  my money yesterday but on the condition I didn't claim for interest, costs or compensation.

Thank God its all over.  If you manage to get interest you are doing well.

We were told yesterday that our Lawyers have the cheque for our refund of deposit in their hands............today we have heard nothing from the Lawyers. We did however, get a message left on our ansafone at home from ADH saying that they needed to contact us as a matter of urgency.

Not one to get into a panic, I don't know what ADH would want, and maybe I am being a little bit paranoid, but the whole process of getting our money back has been one step up from a nightmare.  I am therefore hoping that the good news comments I read on this thread are just that, and our money should be winging its way to our account pronto...........that is provided the Lawyer gets back to us so we can tell her where to send the money................it's way too stressful for me............

Got home from Spain on Friday 26th, with my money safely in a Spanish bank until I organise transfer to UK, but it cost me in lawyers fees and loss of interest for nearly  two years.

I went to the site to see what progress has been made to Block 7 since I was last there last October and could see no signs of any workmen, plant or machinary on site.  I could see little change in the building since last year and it is obviously a long way from completion.  Also went to look in estate agents windows, who all seem to be reducing sale price of properties. 

So glad to be out of it.
