we have purchased an apartment in block 4 can anyone update me on progress of block  dates of signing over etc

What floor are you on in phase 4?  In relation to updates, we are supposed to be recieving a letter stating the dates of completion within the next month.  As pink bubbles said the expected date for block 4, 5, 6 and  11 is feb, The rest of the blocks are July 08.  Hopefully the whole of phase 4 will be complete by then for the summer rentals, for those who are renting.  The club house is due in october 08.

You would think that the club would be built asap, to make money for the people who will run it and to service the occupants of arenal golf. Why is it going to take another year to build. Quite sad really.

I was thinking the same thing.  They should concentrate on getting the commercial shops up and running also as they will be needed as it can be difficult for people that do not drive going to the supermarket.  I am going out there in November for 1 week, so it will be interesting to see where things are up to.

We have just got back from our apartment in Phase 3 right opposite the club house and nothing has been done for over 6 months to it.  We were talking to some people that live there and the thought seems to be that they will not complete the clubhouse until the complex is finished as they don't want owners getting together and putting in joint complaints.  There was talk about holding back paying community charges as the residents don't feel like they are getting anything for their money at the moment.  On phase 3 there are more weeds than flowers and the two roundabouts look a sight and rubbish seems to be lying about all over the place - not a good look if you are renting your apartment out.  I just hope phase 4 is brought up to the same standard as Phases 1 and 2 as we in Phase 3 seem to have lost out - our post gets soaking wet as we don't have covers over our post boxes like the other two phases do and also we don't have a child's pool in either of our pool areas so I just hope our renters will be able to use the one on phase 2, also the toilets in the pool area do not have the lovely thatched roofs that the others do.  Plus we don't have the nice lights that are dotted about in phase 2.  The whole look of phase 3 is that we are the poor relations to phase 1 and 2.  Let's just hope phase 4 owners get a better deal and we all get the promised commercial centre and paddle tennis courts that we were promised.  Going by the plan we were shown the paddle tennis courts are now a car park for the school!!!
