Not sure if this has already been covered in a previous thread.

Has anyone considered how we can get UK TV at SADM? Maybe Linda Needham can answer as she is already living there.

At out place at Villamartin we have cable which is same quality as we have at home and costs 15euros a month. Is there a similar company in Jumilla? or will we need to put up a big dish?

Any advice appreciated

Basically, at the moment if you want UK TV you will have to put up a big dish 1.9 or 2.4 metres if you want BBC 2.  There are a lot of companies and private individuals installing them here.  There are a few freebee magazines doing the rounds and most advertise in them.  One is The Campo (good for jokes as well), The Inland Magazine and a new one just out which is the only one covering Jumilla called The Voice. All installers from Pinoso, which has a large expat community, and surrounding areas will come out to Jumilla.  I would not advise a coastal company as they will charge for travelling time. When you are out you may be able to pick them up but only if you go into Pinoso.  Gringos which is an English food shop.  Refugios which is an English run bar. These are the nearest.
If you just want to keep up with news in English Like BBC World, or Sky you can buy a small dish in local shops which pick up Hotbird and Astra satillites.  Anormal TV ariel will pick up local Spanish channels for local News (Noticias) or cookery programmes, loads of political stuff as well.

If anybody has bought through ambasun contact the aftersales you will get the same package as us for 590 euros  installation and 19 euros a month

It includes all the bbc and itv channels some freeview and the sky sports

The lines to Jumilla are not as good as on the coast that area has been over developed and it has obviuosly brought prices down

Having said that my sister had to pay for a cable to be dropped from the 12th floor of her apartment block to the 2nd as there was not enough space for them to be connected that cost her 800 euros      She is just outside Benidorm so I thought it was a bargain knowing how much her sky cost
