We have had a horrible weekend. Last Friday our lovely cat Romeo was run over and killed on the road outside our house.

He was such a special cat, so friendly, loving and totally adorable.  He was very playful and a very unique character...he even had fangs!

We are all missing him so very much.  He was only with us for a year after we rescued him as a stray kitten at a chiringuito.

At least he was very loved by us all during his short life.

Romeo, we love you and we will never forget you.  You brought such joy to our lives and you will forever be in our hearts.

Rest in peace.  We love you.

I knew that the town hall has been trying to get rid of some of the people working there but employing vultures to do their dirty work for them....well, I've seen it all now!

As you can see, the weather here today is gorgeous!

And by the way, if you've never been up close with a vulture....it's massive.  See the guys on the roof top about to run for it as it took off again.
