Hello Pat, I'm not very good with directions but here goes, as you stand with your back to the church, looking over to the right - don't know the name of the street, but I think it's called Ramon - walk towards San Remo, it's the road that runs parallel with that one, about 100 yards or so on the left hand side, with umberellas outside.

Run by Tony (Italian) and Rosalind (Welsh)

Well can I suggest "Cafe Cariad" in Almoradi, which does an amazing 3 Course Sunday lunch for 9euros, home made soup which is delicious, egg mayonaisse etc, choice of meats, and their home made bread and butter pudding and others is to die for. They also have a mdd on certain days and specials on Saturday (market day) Well worth a visit.

Hello, we're having our Christmas dinner with Geraint and Ann at the Red Dragon (I know this isn't a restaurant) but their food is nice. Cost is, I think 40 euros for Christmas Dinner and all the trimmings. Then in the evening you can go back and have chicken curry and chips if you can stomach it, which is included in the price, which is very good.

Also Cafe Cariad is doing a Christmas dinner, which is also the same price.

Hope to see you there over the holidays.

Ann

Gina

We normally fly to Cardiff to Alicante as we are only 20 mins from there in Almoradi. Tomorrow we fly from Bristol with Easyjet as the flights were so much cheaper, only £100 each over half-term, which is reasonable. Can't wait although the weather isn't particularly good.

Last year BMI were advertising Summer 2007 flights in September 2006, so they are quite a bit later this year.

I assume that because they've raised Winter 2007-08 fares so much that they are holding back flights for next Summer. Last Christmas and New Year we paid £85 each for 2 weeks, where as this Christmas they were £162 each when they came out and are now  £289 each, which is a huge increase.

There is a new airline due to start at Cardiff Airport in the near future so I think that BMI will have a lot of competition, which I suppose if very good for us.

Regards Ann
