Hi, I`ve just bought a property in Hacienda for investment and I will like to put it on rental and get some incomes. Anybody has an idea of which is the best way to do it. Because I've seen some companies doing the management in Hacienda. But I have seen so many properties in a terrible condition (gardens, swimming pools and houses without any care). I would be very please to hear your suggestions.

Hello Ansar

I use one of the property comapnies based in Hacienda.  They are good.

I think some of the properties are in a bit of a state, as people have not got round to gettting their gardens landscaped etc.  I am sure this will improve as time goes on.

Ello all.

Resort Group are about to open new offices at HDA (mid Sept 07). They are dealing wihth some of the biggest & best holiday companies in the UK & Europe! (James Villas - Co-Op travel etc). They manage rentals & management on most of the Polaris sites & La Manga club so are well versed in what they do - very impressive and very profesional, but your property will have to come upto UK Health & Safety spex.

I think they will capture 90% of the rental market on HDA because they have great vacation contacts/partners and that all important marketing which most smaller agencies can´t offer.

Hello Citizens

thanks for that.  Will they be advising on, or providing furniture packages etc.  I would be interested in hearing if they are.

Thanks

Mia

Yes they are able to supply many designs of furniture packs. The have a showroom Nr Polaris in Balsicas. From what I know there will also be a furniture show house on HDA also. I have been in the Balsicas one and nothing is left to chance with them - I´m really impressed, good luck

Hi Mia. I don´t think Resort are on site until Sept but I know a person called Debbie at the Resort office in Balsicas would help you, even before they are on site. Given who Resort deal with for holiday lets they should be better for you. What type of property do you have on HDA? I may be looking to take a long term rent on there?

Hi Citizen

I have a two bed two bath Coral iv.  It is not furnished yet though.  If  you had a contact email for them that would be great.  I have looked at the website but cannot see any details for Hacienda contact.

Thanks

Mia

Hi there,

I've just found this forum....there does not seem to be many others talking about HDA!!!!

re rentals We have 2 properties and we use Hacienda Management Services and have done so since we first bought here 18 months ago (They were Barwells then) The main reason we decided to go with them is they told the Truth!

When we asked how many weeks rental we could expect , as we had been told by Armilar or whatever they call themselves now, that we would get in excess of 30 weeks, they told us the figure would be no where near that as the golf complex was new and very little to offer, nothing for kids, no pubs no clubhouse, no hotel.
Hacienda Management Services did say that they would be interested in taking our villas on board if we were interested in long term rents and since that day both properties have been rented out for EVERY SINGLE WEEK. I'm told one of our properties is used by the Guardia for student police officers.

i think that if you want a realistic return on your property investment look to rent out long term. At the moment there are far too many properties chasing very few renters for short term holiday lets
