Is there any truth in the rumour that work on the hotel has been put on hold because the Town Hall has not yet received the appropriate planning application?

I was going past the location for the last two weeks and there was no work being carried out on site, but work was being done on the clubhouse.

I've just found this forum....there does not seem to be many others talking about HDA!!!!

re rentals We have 2 properties and we use Hacienda Management Services and have done so since we first bought here 18 months ago (They were Barwells then) The main reason we decided to go with them is they told the Truth!

 When we asked how many weeks rental we could expect , as we had been told by Armilar or whatever they call themselves now, that we would get in excess of 30 weeks, they told us the figure would be no where near that as the golf complex was new and very little to offer, nothing for kids, no pubs no clubhouse, no hotel.
Hacienda Management Services did say that they would be interested in taking our villas on board if we were interested in long term rents and since that day both properties have been rented out for EVERY SINGLE WEEK. I'm told one of our properties is used by the Guardia for student police officers.

i think that if you want a realistic return on your property investment look to rent out long term. At the moment there are far too many properties chasing very few renters for short term holiday lets
