Hi all, have a house on SR3, last two visits have been too busy to socialise.  Can anyone recomend anywhere for evening meal/entertainment.  Has anyone visited the Oasis area what is there ? Also a small bar on Roda.

I would also like to access the Community Website can anyone shed any light on how to do this.

Hi Arron

The plaza area in Los Alcazares is now starting to get busy.  There are quite a few bar/restaurants there now.......I can reccomend the Royal Tandoori for evening food and Big Bens for lunch.  The plaza is next to Mercadonna....turn right after the flyover and its opposite the Euromarina building.  I also noticed a new WOK chinese being fitted out a week or so ago so may be finished now and is within easy walking distance of Roda...left after flyover ...you cant miss it.  I have only been in the small bar a couple of times and it seems very friendly and most people seem to use it so a good place to get to know and meet people.  Im not sure that there is much in the oasis area ...I have been down a couple of times but not really noticed anything....thats not to say that there is not anything there though.  Not sure about the website......perhaps someone else will let us know about it.

Hope this helps a bit

Thanks  Jeff

Hi Arron

Basically echo what Jeff has said - the plaza is where most of the restaurants are situated. Try La Diva as well, also Bayside. If you have a look on the general chat side of eos under restaurants, there is a thread entitled 'Mar Menor Restaurants' - that might give you a few more ideas. Oasis is mainly where the 'english' bars are although am told that 'Nicos' is a good restaurant. Roblemar over the road gets good reports as well.

Have spent many a 'happy' hour in the bar on roda - drinks are large & the prices cheap  - apparently there is now a karaoke every friday night. Not everyones cup of tea but we have always found them to be good fun.

Re the community website - the only one I know about is the one for M1, M2 & M10 which basically gives details of meeting for that community.
