We were at the Planning Office two weeks ago, and asked about and saw some of the new plan and also La Reserva De Marbella in particular.After a phone call either internally or externally we were told La Reserva is ok.
Next we took up the offer from the Developer displayed on his letter, and made an appointment to meet and see their documents.
We have seen the Builder's Insurence covering our block against the Contractor if any thing happens..We were told that owners do not get a copy, as this is a private insurance taken out by the developer.
We have a copy of the letter from the Town Hall setting out dates the habitation licence was applied for and the date it was granted for our block (6) by Administrative Silence.
We know that this is from the Town Hall Officials now in trouble.
Anna was insistant that our block and the other blocks are not illegal.
We were also told that the other court cases were not being pursued as the Junta had left it too late to challenge the licences. At this point I am relaying the gist of what we took on board and hopefully understood from her(Anna) correctly.
She did say that out of all the owners either completing or suing we were the only ones to ask to see them as a result of the letter.
The delay in the completion of block 7 Manzana 3 was due to three strikes by the workmen.
The plasterers were on strike for three months seemingly.
I do know when I was out early November 2005 I only saw two workmen in block 7 Manzana 3. The whole area was a ghost town.
I do not know if this info is of any use, but please can I say that we went to get facts and rightly or wrongly this was what we were told. If any one has anything to take up on the developers side I would suggest you make an appointment and take them to task about issues you are angry/concerned about. We had found in the past it was hard to get a consistant answer from anyone, but feel we did what we could, using precious holiday time, by going to the horses mouth so to speak.
Another thing, after we found out about all of this in July, we saw our Lawyer and he told us that the land our block (6) was not built on green belt land, but common land.
