We've used them in the past - as have our clients - and they are as good as any of the rest.
Sol-Mar is a direct rental company so you'll probably pay more than booking through and agent like Car-Jet.
Watch out with all car hire companies now for :-
a) horrendous cost for a tank of fuel on the full/empty deals
Look for a full/full deal; they are still available if you hunt around. Car-Jet offer these as well as full/empty
b) add-ons for insurance - these can be huge if you want to make sure you don'f face a big bill should you proang the car.

Last time we rented we had a problem with the car and they came and changed it within a couple of hours. I hate the major rental companies you never know how much your paying until its too late.

We have a client coming in August who has booked through them and they got a really good deal.
Don't know much else about them as no-one else has ever used them

Thanks Pommers, They were suggested to us by someone else and they certainly have good deals for the high season.I'm just cautious when something seems almost too good to be true!! Cat.
