 Hi

We have been informed by our key holder that the rubber seals are falling out around the large window to the right of the entrance door.

any ideas how to secure the rubber seal. We are considering using silicon but if anybody has a better idea we would be grateful to hear it

We have the same problem, looking at a friend's apartment on Naranjos, it looks like our window isn't fitted correctly because his glass comes right up to the metal frame so doesn't need this extra rubber seal.  Our window seems fine without the seal so it might just be a cosmetic thing?

I have no idea where you can get a rubber seal, but at the Sea Life centre in Blackpool, last week, I did notice that they were selling Fury Seals.

Hope this helps?

I believe you have to remove the trim and seals from inside then remove window realign outer seal

replace window this should compress outer seal when inner seal and trinm is put back.

It is designed so the seal apply equal pressure to the galss prevents shock etc. and provides watertight integrity.

I dont understand how your seals are falling out? unless they have always been like tis? it is very difficult to remove outer seal first. They dont just fall out?

If seal is not there window would be loose and not waterproof.

Should be able to buy seal by the mtr at hardware or window shop.

You could if you think it needs replacing cut a small piece off and take it with you.

Water will always seep in even if the glass looks comletely sealed, in the uk all windows are fitted with concealed drainage, i presume this is the same in spain , i think you may have problems trying to buy new gasket as you need to match the window system, easy answer is to silicon , does the same job
