Now that 4 manzanas of 88 houses have been released at once I have found that Mercers have suddenly shown little interest in sorting out any problems or trying to provide a decent level of service.  Admittedly they lost two experienced people from their Vejer office but I find it hard to believe they have only been able to recruit one part-time person who is obviously inundated with people either visiting the site or contacting the office for information.  There doesn't even appear to be an answerphone which is totally unacceptable.   My snagging list is very short and I'm basically happy with the standard of finish from the builder but I am not getting any replies from my e-mails to Susanna in Vejer and conversations with the Henley office are getting nowhere.  They tell you they will forward on the message but nothing happens.  All the way through I have found Mercers service to vary between very good and bad, and sometimes they have been extremely conservative and selective with the truth, but they seem to be showing a high level of disinterest now that they have got their money.

Am I just unlucky or are others having similar problems?
