WE HAD 79 EUROS TAKEN FROM OUR ACCOUNT IN JUNE...ONE MONTHS ONLY. TOTAL WILL BE 950 A YEAR...A BIT MORE THAN WE HAD ANTICIPATED.

BUT AS LONG AS EVERYONE PAYS AND IT STOPS DETERIORATION OF OUR UNIQUE SITE AND KEEPS THE WATER ON AND THE COMMUNAL AREAS WEEDED ........I'M HAPPY !

I'VE HEARD THAT ON AVERAGE IN SPAIN, 20% OF RESIDENTS DON'T PAY THEIR FEES.......A BIT WORRYING.

HOWEVER, WHEN THEY GO TO SELL THEIR PROPERTY THE UNPAID FEES ATTACH AS A DEBT TO THE PROPERTY VALUE, ANYONE ELSE HEARD THAT ?

 unpaid debts can be attached to a house for when it is sold but I think it as to be done via the courts

Hi Tim, yes you are correct unpaid community fees are attached to the property as a debt (through the courts as Mobailey said) but this doesn't help the situation. 

If there were for example 20% of the property owners who don't pay, then the services would be reduced or the remaining owners would need to pay the difference.  Lets hope that isn't the case in Frondoso.

On another point Tim, one of the neighbours texted us during the week and said it was 46 degrees, so I think you will need plenty of sun tan cream when you go.

Yes just got back from Frondoso and it was indeed above 40 the last few days we were there.  However it was great swimming in the pools to cool off not much energy for anything else!!  

We had our M4 meeting with our new president and have emailed who i know  with details of what was discussed which kindly Gemma translated  for us.  I think they will be helpful for not just M4 owners.  I think we are very lucky to have such an active president on M4  well done Jorge!  Send me  a private message if not got your email address and i will be happy to email you with updates. 

Lets hope most people who are living at Frondoso pay their community fees - the problem with M4 is the unsold properties and if Prom.... are able to pay up on those.  When I asked at the meeting we do get a list of non-payers which could be useful. Our administrator seems to be doing a good job with the amount of funds he has got.
