Visit Site

Hi we are visiting the site this wkd, sunday, does anybody have any recommendations as to where to stay and places to visit?

Carava has a fantastic old Church you can visit. I apparently hold part of the Crucifix. They have audio points in various languages so that you understand the history of it.

Caravaca also has a lot of nice restaurants and bars to relax in.

I live in Cehegin which is about 10mins drive from Caravaca and can reccomend the Yorkshire Rose for a place to stay. http://www.yorkshirerose.biz/welcome.html . You may even see me in there as it is my local.

weather is beautiful at the moment so you should have a good time here.

We have just returned having visted the site for the first time and have to report the site is situated in one of the most beautiful parts of Spain. Having stopped close to the coast there is no comparsion with the Caravaca site beating it hands down. And we can,t wait to get our hands on our property.

Having viewed many sites over the years, I believe this could be the jewel in the crown. I work for a major british airline and the site is advertised in the flight mag.Travel time from the airport is roughly 90 minutes but the roads are good. We drove past the site and kept going only too come across more and more fantastic scenery.

It will be a outdoor persons paradise, walking, biking, golfing or just relaxing next to the pool. Any doubts about the site were quickly lost.

Have a good visit, post some photos if the site hut is a nice one, I have to wait till August before I go over, but its for 3 weeks so not that bad.

The elections are this week so that will be another mile stone gone, and the plans can go in and we are all a bit nearer. 

Have you seen the Caravaca torist video on www.IPspain.co.uk, good info of Caravaca.
