The local branch of the British Legion meets at the Olympic Restaurant in Mil Palmeras and meets on the second Thursday of the month. It is a growing branch and always welcomes new members in fact we have just welcomed three member of the Royal Hospital Chelsea the Chelsea Pensioners as members.

Remembrance day this year will be the most unique since the end of the First World War as it will be at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of the 11th year and will not recurr again for another 100 years !!
