2 Developments On Corvera Today

Just to keep people advised today there were 2 developments on Corvera

The first was this morning the removed the buggies from the store and I believe that they have been shipped to RODA

The second was that this afternoon they have closed the onsite rental and services office and Sami has gone.

I understand that these services are now being dealt with from RODA

I have heard that Roman the snagging man at Roda ( for Phase 4 ) and For Corvera has been let go as well

Do you no if this is correct and who do we speak to now, could not get any answers from Roda when  I called

He has gone but been replaced by another guy called Ramon and Vanessa is also again doing some snagging inspections, plus Ramon is responsible for the repairs in the office

At Corvera the snagging inspections have always been done by the sales people Celia & Pablo and the aftersales by Alex who worked with Roman and is still around

There really are not however very many completions happening on either site

Many thanks for your continuous updates on Corvera.

I received an e-mail on the 24th stating that the rentals office was closing and also that my keyholding contract was now cancelled immediately.

The key has to be collected as soon as possible. Therefore, this is one service that will not be dealt with from Roda. I have paid upfront for many months of keyholding, yet received only a couple of months service, yet there was no mention of a refund, no surprise there. They also did not say where to collect the key, if the office is now closed. Another example of poor communication from Calidona, no surprise there either.

Have you any advice on keyholding alternatives? Do you provide this service?

Yes I have been made aware that they have completely closed the renta and services operations but they are speaking to other organisations that can manage the properties that already have a long term tennant renting

I think that it is not very good for those people that paid a premium for their furniture pack on the basis that they relied on Corvera to get them rentals via their marketing

I would hope that you will get a refund but of course by their own admission they don't have any money

Your keys are safe an currently in the office at Corvera where they can be collected and we have done this for another client

There are a number of people providing keyholding onsite, me included with my own staff based on-site, and if you drop me a PM or mail I will send you an information pack on management and rental opportunities, with customer refferences included
