Advice - Help buying on Terrazas

Hi all

I have just returned from looking at a number of Polaris resorts. I am thinking i like Terrazas best however my only concern is the  unfinished building work. The agent has assured me that the contract between the bank and polaris states that building work has to be finished.

What are everyones thoughts on that ?

And those that have bought any regrets ?

Plus any hot tips on buying ive been offered a ground floor for for about 80,000 euros how does this sound compared to what you guys have bought for ?

Any advice would be good

That would be around half the cost of our ground floor apartment.

in which case LJC a good deal by the sounds of it ... did you buy off plan ect ?? and are you happy with the complex ?

Your'e getting a cracking deal at 80K. We bought off plan and have yet to complete.

We bought off plan but moved to a completed one and got a discount - still not that good tho!! We are ground floor on 293 - had it since last July - great!! As soon as the pools are runniing it will be fab. Such a tranquil place to be and close to everything (ish)

We bought a top floor apartment 4 years ago and actually had our apartment last year. We paid twice what you are paying! That is a fantastic deal! Love the site. Very relaxing and love watching golfers go by. Junction 777 on AP7 has supermarket open every day. We are going out in summer holidays for 5 weeks. We love it out there and hope to live out there one day. We are still very happy with our apartment even though it is now probably worth less than we paid for it, but we bought it as a holiday home. One day it will be worth more than we paid and we are quite happy to wait. I would definitely go for it at that price. Good luck and hope to see you out there soon. Enjoy!

Does anyone know if there is a DFS sofa place like we have in england ?

and what is the deal with the community president ? is there just one for phase one or for each horseshoe ?? how do we find this stuff out ?

There is an IKEA in Murcia. This has great furniture. There is a place called dfs in san Javier that people use. We bought our furniture from Polaris world. On the Internet there are a few places you can find. If you want somewhere very luxurious je ne sais quoi has lovely stuff and they can do everything down to napkins! Do not forget a timer for the water heater otherwise it is on all the time and a hose in the outside cupboard. Bought tv from a big supermarket, and bought British tv decoder from les at azure properties. If you need anything else please ask.
