Hi All,
Hope you like the latest uploaded photos taken last week .I did slip down the embankment on Saturday  not recommended as it was wet and slippy evan though the weather was fantastic , and it was covered in dense thorny bushes very painfull. The complex was shut but they had a watchman on duty ,when I got down to the complex it was completley surrounded by a large fence with a gap at Ascot so slipped in there .The buildings look much larger when you stand next to them, its a major operation and there is still a great deal to do.  I crept into Ascot the very corner ground floor and they had the baths in both bathrooms and tiles in the kithchen and lounge, the rooms are the size you would expect in a holiday Spanish apartment no bigger and no smaller than usual, that was my main concern.I did sneak over to Derdy (I nearly own the top penthouse on the corner ) it is next to watchmans hut but could hear a radio playing and retreated  rather quickly in case I was confronted by a couple of overtime workers. I was told by my estate agent it would be completed in 12 months and the habitation licence was just a formality. I would expect after seeing what I saw we would be very lucky to gain access in 12 months but will keep my fingers crossed . Regards Jim

Hi Everyone...  Have finally downloaded photos from our site visit in January.  We were very lucky to be shown around our apartment block (Alazan) unfortunately we could not go inside our own apartment as they had just laid the floor but the photos we took inside was next door to us (1st Floor Letter H).  Photo 1 is the front of Alazan, Photo 2 is looking down towards Ascot and Brida, Photo 3 was taken from the balcony looking into the lounge and kitchen, Photo 4 is the shower room (they had tiled from floor to ceiling, white tiles with orange/yellow mosaic border, also the shower tray was fitted), Photo 5 is the view from the balcony which had lovely views of Fuengirola and the Mijas Mountains and finally Photo 6 is the kitchen which was quite small(!), again this was tiled from floor to ceiling with white wall tiles and orange and yellow border.  In the main bedroom there was space for double wardrobe but in the second bedroom it does appear to be quite small for a wardrobe to fit in but once the walls have been plastered it may look different!!  In the bathroom they had already put the bath in but not the sink or toilet.  All the wiring has been completed.  We was very happy what we saw and came back home feeling a lot more positive. We was told that completion will be October but our main concern was the habitation licence going through and other apartments around us that are being built would this affect us getting our keys and moving in which we did put to Ryan @ Afios in London and he was going to confirm this for us. We also raised the question about underground carparking to Ryan and he said he could not tell us until the promotion has been finished in October.  We hope that you like the photos and has given everyone a piece of mind even though there is a lot of work still to be done.
