Perhaps Taray think that  because we paid top money on Phase 1 with the villa prices they can tuck us up on the pool complex prices also LOL

I can see it being very quite in there, such a shame.

My daughter, husband and three grand kids are due over in Mid August for 10 days and they were so excited that the pools were going to be open, now I've got to tell them the prices. Perhaps its time to buy a paddling pool.

Have just looked at the Aquadel website again and was humoured to see the price list has been removed and being updated.Perhaps they think they have got it wrong and gone to cheap, lol.

Let's show Taray some solidarity here and I would ask Phase 2 owners if they would be prepared to put up with Phase 1 owners using their pool for a little longer until Taray realise they have made one 'BIG MISTAKE'.

I personally would even be prepared to pay them a donation to use their pool until this sad saga is resolved once and for all !!!!!!

I'm informed that Taray employed an outside company to run the pool centre on their behalf and it is nothing to do with the council whatsoever.

It is this company that probably came up with the idea that as we are all so desperate for the use of our own pool, then we would be prepared to pay anything to use it !!!!!!!!   WRONG IDEA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Or maybe they are using the EASYJET model of ripping people off who have children ????????

After waiting (and watching the construction) for the pool to be finished for 4 years, I cannot believe that any business minded person would consider that we are prepared to pay these excessive prices to use it.  I could have weekend luxury spa breaks for less!!  Let's see what happens when the only people there are the lifeguard and cleaner.  We arrive back there on Thursday and what should have been the highlight we have waited so long for will now be the view from my bedroom window (again).  So disappointed with Taray and the whole fiasco.  For the record, I don't normally post on here but I will not be a member of what I am sure will be a very exclusive club at those prices when a five minute drive away is the wonderful Mar Menor.

Just been looking at the aquadel center web site, and it now says that it is updating its price list. Maybe they realise how unrealistic the charges are.

No changes to the prices. They have only translated their prices and usage into english.  Looks like we are not going to get any special price as residents.

Prices at the pool today €5 and €4 for under 14 year olds. It's coming down slowly but still we need to get rid of the summer tariff one and for all !!!!!!!!

Complete joke and rip off, not amused. Perhaps the collective community presidents need to sort this out for us all.

Agree that if the prices don't become more realistic we really need to ask the Presidents to take up the cause while we boycott the pool until Aquadel/Taray see sense.  They need to realise it will be a complete white elephant if they insist on being greedy.  It's bad enough for us who don't rent out but for those who do I would imagine this will be the worst possible news for potential future family rentals, once word get's around about the cost! - Scandalous!!

At least Dick Turpin wore a mask when he robbed you. We should Boycott pool until they bring price down we waited long

enough for pool and we must not let them away with this.

i wonder how jim and treacy feel about these prices it is certainly going to effect them.

The monthy fee is € 45 per family...upto 5 members....this can go up to grandparents and down to grandkids (depending on age)....if you have guests renting your house they will be allowed to use your membership for the period that they are staying, so that is a decent deal ?

I dont think Taray really thought it through when the prices were 1st released, but the fact that guests CAN use the membership does make a massive difference to people who want to rent out or let family stay in thier properties

Andy

I guess it depends on your own personal circumstances.  For us as a non-resident couple who visit 4 to 6 times a year membership of €35 a month is an extravagance we can't justify and therefore,it means it will cost us €18 each day if we both want to swim when we are over in the summer - not too good a deal in my book!.
