Well things, as usual, things did not go strictly according to
plan. At the end of August we were all fiestaed out and we
thought that was the end of it for another year. Not so.
The parties continued all week. Do the Spanish people ever sleep.
Anyway. I did not get to the site as planned on Friday but got there
this afternoon. Nothing has changed since my last visit. I
saw no sign of any machinery or cranes as yet. I will take
another look next week.
The weather is wonderful and has been all through August.
Temperatures still in the late 20's, about 16 around midnight and 10 at
4.00 oclock in the morning (we have seen a few 4.00 oclocks over the
past 6 weeks). We are still eating breakfast on the patio and a gin and
tonic at sundown. The Almonds have all been picked and they are
busy harvesting the grapes so Autumn is on its way.
