Hi Maria,

I was coming out for holiday at my aptartment but have learned today  that the pool is now closed ? This seems very early, could you please advise on what dates the pool opened and closed this year also what are the dates for next year.

P S Thanks for all your hard work,  it is really appreciated.

I have just heard from clients who were renting my apartment and they were not happy that the pool shut down early. I have booked to come over with my grandson later this week and was hoping to use the pool. I do think the dates should be fixed and made clear so that we know when the pool is opening and closing.

Dear all,

The pool was closed early because there was hardly anybody there. Most dates there was just the life guard on site.

As you all know, due to the lack of funding, we decided to close early because is very expensive to keep the pool open with one person using the pool or none at all . There are no dates decided for next year.

There are some other things happening here:

1.  For all of you that are here at the moment, there will be a pacific demonstration next Thursday 8th October in Mijas Pueblo council. This is because the Residues factory in calanova golf are treating the muds with a procedure that is not legal and that's why we have to suffer the bad smells every night.  I will be collecting signature and everything necessary for that to stop.

2. We have finally finished paying the maintenance company for the gardens so, the gardens in block one will start soon.

3.Some of you might have received a letter in Spanish about Aifos. This is a standard letter that is been send out to everybody that was related to Aifos in some way. In the letter says that if you have any debt with Aifos or anything to claim, to write it and send it (with documents, etc). There is only a month to do it. The community has send one claiming the pool in block one, the gardens that where not done and the crack in the ramp to pool.

Surely the ramp is covered by the 10 year building warranty, you should get it sorted through them, I wouldn't hold my breath if you  think you will get something out of Aifos, we will be at the back of queue

Should you also be claiming for loss of community charges on apartments that Aifos owed ?

Just to let you know also that tomorrow the sales office sign in block 1 will be taken down.
