When we were out in November we asked in the Taray office about the community satellite & Antonio told us there were about 5 channels.
We would then have to decide as a community if we wanted to upgrade this or the alternative would be to have your own dish.I imagine it would be cheaper to upgrade as a community rather than having individual dishes, however I suppose it depends whether everyone wants it as some people are going to be out there permanently, some renting & some just for holidays.Does anyone out there know what costs are involved?
From what we can understand the system is different to our one over here.
As we are completing this month we are not really sure what to do.We will only be using our property as a holiday home initially (have to work for a few more years or have a windfall from somewhere to be able to go out permanently), but we would like to be able to get UK channels. We have read the other post today re the commitee, but we were led to understand from our agents that Taray would initially be involved in setting this up with the residents. Does anyone know when this would be first set up as obviously some of us are completing soon, but the whole site will not be finished until mid 2008?
