We returned last Friday from Spain, we stayed close to Guadamar. Have sorted NIE, power of attorney, etc. Will be out again 14th October Nellie said we can complete just before this. Will be great to meet everyone, nice to see some local people, we live in Nuneaton. We ordered most of our furniture from Hons Garcia they were great and not expensive. How many will be around for New Year as it would be great to have a party. I noticed some people have had extra grills fitted to windows and doors i did not realise this would be an option but now it is too late.

have just found this message board- what a great idea! We are buying No.58 - top floor, going out on 15th Oct to complete on 18th so hopefully it sounds as tho a few of you will be around then - looking forward to meeting you.  The info about lights is really useful, also the fact that IKEA deliver in the evening. Does anyone know if the stores will fit the white goods - I have quite a handy husband but he doesn't want to spend all week doing DIY!

How long do you have to wait for delivery of furniture - anyone know?

Read the message about grilles on the windows - we had them fitted by the builders- probably more expensive but at least they are done - not sure about the rules on what sort you can have - i think it's only the top floor that doesn't have them!

We're in no 60. We will definitely be there as we sign on 18th as well, fingers crossed. How many of you are there. Any kids?

From what we've been told most stores will fit your white goods free or  for a small amount we need all white goods as well so will have to wait & see. As for furniture it depends on where you buy ,what you want and if they have it in stock.We ordered our sofa beds from Sofa Elegance in Montesinos when we were out in Aug but they carry alot of stock to have delivered next day as well.

Anyone thought of satellite TV & where to get it from?

I think the local ferretaria will be busy Oct , what with us all out at the same time and having to change the locks!!
