I have been reading this message board with great interest.  My husband and I are from California and are seriously looking at the Porto Fino development for investment purposes, not to mention lovely vacations!  We were planning on renting out the unit and wondered how many weeks it would likely be rented.  What is the demand with so many units in the area?  Also, does anyone know the renting restrictions, i.e. smoking, pets, # of people/unit?  If we don't buy a parking space, how far away is parking?  Is the beach safe/clean and available to the residents of the development?  Thanks for any info you can provide.

Hi

We too plan to rent and were offered impressive figures by MRI regarding occupation percentages but I really took them with a pinch of salt. We find it very easy to rent appartments in Porto Fino for visiting the development so this should tell you something. I think when the area settles down in could be quite a hot spot but who really knows. The beach is huge and very quiet and open to all so no probs there.

Regards

James
