Has anybody arranged their house and contents insurance via local Spanish bank, la Caixa? Their premium quote (online) seems to be great value compared to others but I havn't been able to find out if a policy is available in English. Any information you can provide would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,

From a personal point of view I would say that you cannot really do much better than with La Caixa over here for most banking business.

Their house and contents insurance is very good and alot of people do not realise that it also includes travel assistance and re-patriation should you be becoming a resident here.

Kind regards
