Just got back yesterday from a long weekend. I'll post some pics of the site when I get them off my camera.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news to those of you who have been told it's all completed but basically nothing has changed since June 2006. The pool area is not finished and in fact looks worse as it's overgrown with weeds and the pool is full of dirty water.
What I presume is phase 5 across to the far right as you look up to the development is finished as in there is no more building to be done, but no one is living there, it hasn't been cleaned up yet and there is no landscaping at all behind the apartments - just dirt and a rickety fence.
The area to the front of the site is still just a big pile of dirt and shale.
The street lights are still out in some sections of the access road
The roads up to it are still pot holed and dusty
The luxury villas to the left as you look out towards the sea are still not finished but work is going on.
The little housing development to the right as you look towards the sea is finished but not all are inhabited and some are still for sale.
We've got 8 new bins down by the tennis club, but still some people seem incapable of getting their rubbish into them and it's left lying on the floor around the bins.
There was no one in the Forest Hills portacabin the whole 4 days we were there, therefore I have no further information on when things might be finished.
The development behind FH is called Sierra Dorada, but again there was no one in their portacabin so I couldn't get any further information on what is planned up there, and where the access road will be.
