Hi andyandvicky,
I too would like to know about shutters on the front of the upstairs apratments in the jardins. When we went over in the summer you could see right in through the front but the shutters were on the back where you would have to stand on a ladder to see anyway.  I wasn't sure about putting furniture, TV etc in before gettig curtains/blinds but ours is completely empty for the time being anyway.  We stayed in Mar Menor and the shutters were good for keeping the rooms cool from the sun whilst you were out too - I'm not sure they were very secure though because they had no locks ( I think the shutters on the back of our apt are the same ones)
Lets' know how you get on
Tan

We stayed at La Torres when we completed in August and they have electric shutters on the patio doors which gave you privacy and security plus kept the rooms cool.  I was expecting the same at Jardins unfortunately not.  We have one set of shutters at the back but they operate on a pulley system and nothing at the front.  Would be interested to know how much it would cost to install electric or otherwise.

So would I. Electric oes would be much better on the front - the pulley ones are ok on the back of the upstairs apts like ours cos as I said they would need a ladder to break in anyway.   Bet elec ones are costly though..........Tan
