Holiday today

Does anyone know any good furniture packages and where they can be found. Also is there anyone living on site that is prepared to do a meet and greet service for a small fee for any rental clients.

I used '  Imperial '  in Marbella Shopping Center La Canada - just off Coast Road on way from airpirt,   you can pick what you want or get a package...

I used Imperial for my furniture but bought items individually. I was impressed with the quality of the furniture but their delivery leaves a lot to be desired. I was promised delivery of a table and chairs, first time they cancelled delivery one day before I arrived. Second time they turned up late minus the chairs third delivery they turned up with chairs.........very late again. All the problems could have been more acceptable if they had told me before I had made arrangements to travel from UK each time.

I had no problems with Imperials but maybe that was due to Ocean Estates bringing them my business, Ocean lady took me to all furniture stores and i used imperials as they had best selection and i got discounts,  i also did same an Nicky i picked up furniture individualy,  package was from 15K i spent  7500 k,  i went modern down stairs and more rustic for bedrooms...

I had my terrace tabel smashed by SKY TV guy and imperials again turned up on time, even rang me to let my know they were on there way...they put table together and took away all packaging, i was very impressed...

Ps. Nicky how you finding the complex - i had a lot of leaks but all have finally been sorted, all stemed from bad design and workmanship off planters

 

 

 

 

 

 

Overall I'm very happy with the apartment and I think the complex will be lovely once all building work and infrastructure is completed. Funnily enough we have just noticed a large damp patch in the corner of the dining area which seems to be coming from the second shower. The developers have inspected and said it is due to poor tile grouting and will repair this week. Personally I think it is a bigger problem as water leaks into the garage below but we will see.

I have had damp patches everywhere in Duplex apt....most of problems stem from planters not being sealed properly. Also check terrace drains for blockages...mine spread all over apt, good thing is Labaro have been very food with reagrds to problems...

Looking forward to Ph4 completing soon and hopefully shops will start to open in Gallera Park.  

Sadly just seen on web that  Spain have put up interest rates once again,  mine went up 170 euros per month this time last year, god knows what they will go up this month,  i expect another 150 - 200 per month :-(

Im back over in May, looking forward to some sun and swimming..

So far Labaro have been good when investigating and fixing problems so hopefully this problem will soon be solved. I agree about the shops, both for convenience and aesthetically.  I'm down there a couple of times in May and already looking foward to it.

Just come back complex looking really well new english store about to open at front huge improvement to the overall look from last year.

At the moment do not intend to let other than to friends relatives etc but would be interesrted to know if there is anybody recommended to clean and make ready apt after guests have left or if anybody providing a service to collect from airport as certainly some relations will not drive.
