Has any one any news on the road to our hillside retreat yet, haven't managed to get over as we are in the throws of paying of our last installment on the deposit.

I suppose it is good that they are taking time getting the correct licenses not like some of the other developments further down the road near Malaga.

Has any one got a guarentee from aifos with this deal our agent fobbed us of and bieng a bit green, took his word for it. anyone else in the same boat.  It is possible to go to court about this as another lawer said they have broken the law, but I would like to wait to see if building starts when they said they will grant a guarentee.

Anyone heard of how the golf development is going, it would be interesting to see if both course and apartments are co-ordinated.

There is as far as I can see no work begun and the licence has not been granted up to DEc 2005.

I entered into arrangement with AIFOS to purchase an appartment at the development.

In sept/oct 2005, I requested my lawer - Del Prado to inform AIFOS that I wanted to withdraw from contract, so they would not be taking my next payment from my bank on 23/12/05. AIFOS tried to take it, as there was not sufficent funds,there was a charge made by my bank - SOL Bank, they (AIFOS) now wanted me to pay charge and refuse to give me back my deposits saynig that DEl Prado were not acting for me. THey did not have power of authorney, but they do represent me. But I had clearly told DEL PRADO to inform AIFOS of my intentions which they did, and mow I have had to give DELP PRADO a further 1000 euro to take AIFOs to court. What a mess. I am determined I am not going to let AIFOS keep my money.

Does anybody have similiar problems with AIFOS in this development?
